August 8, 2023 – Health Canada has proposed changes to the regulatory fee structure for natural health products that may impact product affordability, reduce patient access to care, and place additional burdens on the health care system.
The Canadian Alliance of Regulatory Bodies of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists has submitted its feedback through Health Canada’s consultation page and issued a letter to federal Health Minister Mark Holland encouraging additional, broad consultation on the changes prior to implementation.
